Fruit Morphology Measurements of Jujube Cultivar ‘Lingwu Changzao’ (Ziziphus jujuba Mill. cv. Lingwuchangzao) during Fruit Development

‘Lingwu Changzao’ (Ziziphus jujuba Mill. cv. Lingwuchangzao), a cultivar of Ziziphus in the Rhamnaceae family, is traditional jujube Ningxia, China. For Changzao’, morphological traits are prominent characterizing fruit yield, quality, and consumer acceptance. However, measurements for cultivation limited. Therefore, objective this study to measure growing patterns selected during development. Eight traits, including four (fruit length, diameter, weight, flesh (mesocarp) thickness), three stone (stone weight), firmness (also known as hardness), were measured over 3-mo (months) period, covering completed development period. Results indicate that coincide with double ‘S’ growth curves, which mainly present fruit. Increases terminated early while continuously increased till end That implies high fruit-stone ratio, i.e., desirable quality attribute fresh-eating fruits. The results presented can serve one part standard dataset China, it also support decisions plant breeding field managements Changzao’.
